There are a number of reasons for the increased interest in synthetic deer scents or any synthetic lures for that matter. Another popular reason to purchase synthetic hunting scents is that some people just don’t like the idea of storing or carrying real animal urine.
For those that don’t know about CWD it is considered similar to Mad Cow and effects the brain in deer, elk, and moose. Most of the reports are related to deer farms and not animals in the wild.
